Santo Domingo is the oldest city in the New World-with five centuries of sightseeing adventures.
The major historical attractions are concentrated in the "Colonial Zone". Here you wil find the first Cathedral, palace and fortress of the New World. The homes of Christopher Columbus and his brother Diego are both here, as well as century old homes that now serve as restaurants, museums, bars and galleries.
